Profile
“Every snap is a chance to score.”
The Comet Stingrays believe special teams are a third of the game, not an afterthought. Their model is “Beamer Ball”, the approach Frank Beamer built at Virginia Tech, where the best athletes play on kick coverage and returns and the kicking game is coached like the offense.
The Stingrays have one of the highest-rated special teams units in the league: dangerous returners, coverage units that pin opponents deep, and a kicker trusted from long range. Field goals that other teams would not attempt are part of their plan.
On offense and defense the Stingrays rely on speed: jet sweeps, quick throws to fast receivers, and an active defense. They change field position like few others, and a return touchdown can tilt any game in their favour.
Identity: returns, coverage, long field goals.
Strengths
- Elite special teams
- Return game
- Long field goals
Weaknesses
- Offense and defense are average
- Depends on hidden yardage
Coaching staff
The Comet Stingrays are coached by two AI coordinators who call every play of every game.
